Current Opening: Office Manager / Project Administrator
Job Description
The Office Manager / Project Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations while also supporting and scheduling electrical projects from start to finish. This position requires excellent organizational skills, and strong leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, scheduling, customer service, and coordinating fieldwork to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including managing communications, emails, and phone inquiries.
- Maintain and organize digital and office softwares (service fusion, etc) using them as intended.
- Maintain and organize office files, invoices, and work orders.
- Handle bookkeeping tasks such as payroll, accounts payable/receivable, collections, and financial reports.
- Order and manage inventory of office and field supplies.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and HR-related tasks for employees.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Develop and implement office procedures to improve efficiency.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and utility companies.
- Responsible for and scheduling and managing fleet maintenance.
- Maintain permits and inspections including putting permits in systems. Work with inspectors as required.
- Represent company at public functions including BIA and tradeshows, work with Marketing to build and maintain the pipeline.
